The day-to-day of HiSmile HQ
Today we're peeling back the curtain and taking a look behind the brand, to explore the different departments at HiSmile HQ. Our team is made up of a diverse group of makers, thinkers, and doers, across various backgrounds and skillsets. We're looking at the day-to-day of each department, and how each team member contributes to the big picture.
At the heart of HiSmile is a love of great design, and innovative products. We're lucky to have a talented group of designers in our Product Development team, committed to pushing the boundaries of our industry. We aim to create the most innovative, attention-grabbing products, right off the back of our customer feedback. The goal? Change the way you think about bathroom products, and challenge the traditional ideas of oral care.
Our Public Relations team comes next. The PR department is a tight-knit group, each with a unique network of influence. Our coordinators work to explore exciting brand partnerships and collaborations with people all over the globe. The overall goal in the PR team is to craft meaningful relationships, with like-minded individuals and organisations. In a nutshell, this team celebrates success and champions the people who are kicking goals in life.
Our Social Media team is the largest department, split into three core groups: Content, Community, and Advertising. The content team are our creatives, with photographers, videographers, and designers alike. Our content has always been an expression of who we are as a company, but lately, it's less about what we like to create, and more about what our customers want to see.
Once a piece of content comes to life, the Advertising team is responsible for pushing it across our platforms. We're regularly crafting new Instagram posts, Facebook advertisements, Snapchat stories, and YouTube tutorials, so there's a lot to track. Our advertising coordinators and data analysts monitor each piece, to make sure we're ahead of the game, and delivering content that the community values.<br/>
The last department from social is the community team. These are the guys on the front lines, replying to your comments, hitting you with GIFs, and chatting to you in DMs. Each coordinator acts as a personal concierge, building a one-to-one relationship with a community member, and assisting in their journey from start to finish, and beyond.
Our Web team is a small group of developers and designers that are frequently updating and iterating on our website. Recently, we redesigned the site to include some new features, including the blog you're reading right now. Our goal with the website is for every visitor to walk away with a unique experience. Of course, we want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to make an informed decision about a purchase, but we're also looking at other ways we can engage a visitor. Keep your eyes tuned to the site for some exciting developments in the coming months.
On the back end of a purchase is our Customer Experience team. These guys are our resolution specialists, dedicated to giving every customer a positive experience. It's incredibly important for us to be able to get real-time customer feedback from our experience team, so we can iterate and adapt throughout each department. The customer team has their finger on the pulse, making sure that we're sticking to the needs, wants, and values of our customers.
Last but not least is our Operations team, including everyone from Accountants to Lawyers, to Office Managers. Our ops team is hands-on with ensuring that our products are up to international standards, and are compliant across the board. Each member of this team keeps everything running smoothly at HiSmile HQ, making sure that we have a healthy amount of snacks (and coffee!) on hand, among many other responsibilities.
So there you have it, a brief look at all the puzzle pieces that make up HiSmile. Across all of these teams, one theme remains consistent. Whether it be Customer Experience, Web, PR, or Product, the overall strategy is to ensure we're hitting the mark, and meeting the needs of our community.
Put it this way: When you think of oral care, we want you to think HiSmile.
